General objectives:
Provide scientific evidence to health policy makers and health insurance providers to evaluate the payment ability of patients with stage IIIb/IV non-small cell lung cancer.
Specific objectives:
- To estimate willingness to pay (WTP) for a Quality Adjusted Life Year of stage IIIb / IV non-small cell lung cancer patients in some hospitals in Vietnam in 2018.
- To analyze factors related to willingness to pay for a Quality Adjusted Life Year among study subjects.
Research sites:
The study was conducted in a number of central and city hospitals eligible for stage IIIb / IV non-small cell lung cancer treatment in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City:
- Bach Mai Hospital - The Nuclear Medicine and Oncology center.
- National Cancer Hospital
- Hanoi Oncology Hospital
- Da Nang Oncology Hospital
- HCMC Medical and Pharmacy University Hospital.
Methodology:
Cross-sectional study. Quantitative survey.
